We may have left the EU but OJEU thresholds continue to be relevant in procurement. The new thresholds for 2020 - 2022 were published in December 2019 and are as follows:
For main contracts -
Works £4,733,252
Services* £189,330
Supplies* £189,330
* other than for schedule 1 bodies(central government bodies) for which the threshold is £122,976 for each, services and supplies.
Subsidised service contracts for all bodies £189,330
The threshold for the Light Touch Regime for services is set at £663,540
Small lot thresholds are -
Works £884,720
Services £70,778
Supplies £70,778
As previously, the value of the contract includes the value of any potential contract extension.
The threshold for services and supplies mean that a three year contract with a potential for a two year extension and an annual value of just £37,866 will need to be procured following the OJEU process in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
